Laboratory research team leaded by Victor Polterovich is the core of scientific school "Theory of economic equilibrium and problems of transition economies", which received funding from the Program of state support of leading scientific schools of the Russian Federation in 1996, 2000, 2003, 2006, and 2008.

Our staff members have repeatedly won competitions of the Russian Foundation for Basic Research, Russian Humanitarian Scientific Foundation, Economics Education and Research Consortium - Russia, Moscow Public Science Foundation. In addition, laboratory researchers received grants from the World Bank, International Bank for Reconstruction and Development, Soros Foundation, Ford Foundation, Fulbright Program, INTAS, TACIS, etc. In the last 5 years, over 35 research projects have been financed from external sources.
