Seminar meetings are held on Tuesdays at 11:30 am in room 521 (5th floor) of CEMI building.
The seminar is free and open to the public. Prior registration is not required.

Mathematical Economics Seminar

Established in the mid-1980s, Mathematical Economics seminar is run by the Laboratory head, Academician Victor Polterovich, and principal researcher, Dr Vladimir Danilov. Seminar meetings, held on a weekly basis, cover a wide range of mathematical economics and economic theory topics.

Over the past five years, more than 140 research projects and papers have been presented at the seminar. Besides CEMI researchers, among the speakers were scientists from other academic institutes and educational institutions from Moscow (RAS Computing Centre, RAS Institute of Control Sciences, Saint-Petersburg Institute for Economics and Mathematics, Moscow State University, Higher School of Economics, Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology, New Economic School, Centre for Economic and Financial Research, Economic Expert Group, Finance Academy under the Government of the Russian Federation), Saint-Petersburg, Nizhny Novgorod, Novosibirsk, Saratov, specialists from private sector, as well as researchers from Belgium, Germany, the Netherlands, U.S., France, Switzerland.
